The Impact of Leadership on Engagement – The Votes Are In!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Looking for solid evidence and credible resources that support the notion that employee engagement and commitment is strongly associated with ‘the way a leader behaves’ and not ‘who a leader is’? Participants will explore (and even become part of) supporting research, as they draw upon the 35 years of cutting-edge leadership research by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. Attendees will define what people look for in a leader who they would willingly follow and debate whether engagement is connected to ‘who a leader is’ or ‘how a leader behaves’. This session will view the impact of engagement while exploring a solution that leaders are more and more relying on, and in turn increasing probability of higher employee engagement rates.
